INTELLIGENT PROMOTION
Just what do we mean by “intelligent promotion”?
First, let’s establish what is definitely NOT intelligent
promotion!
- Have you ever spent a sizeable sum of money for some promotional
action and had little or no response?
- Like an expensive postcard campaign, or newspaper ad, or radio
or TV that got zero, zip, nada for new patients?
Well, that was not intelligent promotion!
Then there is spending lots of your money on promotional actions
that you have not surveyed for first. Spending money on un-surveyed
promotion is simply gambling. It’s like going to Las Vegas.
You may ‘hit it big’ but the chances are you will be
severely disappointed. Not doing a survey before the promo is sent
out is a waste of money.
We have found that one primary reason for little or no promo going
out is this: having spent some serious money on promotion with little
or no result... it is then decided that promo is “a waste
of money”.
Do you know what the biggest error is in promotion? It is no promo
going out at all!
When we say Intelligent Promotion, we mean, survey based promotion
sent on a regular schedule to a specific audience. Properly surveyed
promotional pieces, sent to the right public WILL ALWAYS GET RESULTS.
